Sometimes you have to look up close to see the prettiest things.  The fashion equivalent of stopping to smell the roses.

I bought this old pin at the Vancouver Flea Market a couple of weeks ago for a dollar.  I love the brown and yellow together.  It looks happy on this thrifted vest that I smartened up with mis-matched coin buttons

I had these vintage beaded lacy panels sitting around for years, and I thought I should use them before they disintegrate completely, so I got this cheap H&M top at Value Village, and presto: DIY shoulder glam.
